Platform migrations

Magento to Shopify, M1 or M2, any catalog size.

The most common replatform we run, from a single storefront to a multi-store estate with a decade of order history.

Multi-store
Multiple Magento stores split into Shopify stores or Markets, your call

Where this one gets sharp

The things that catch teams out on this platform, said plainly before you sign anything.

M1 and M2 both supported

Magento 1 (1.7+) and Magento 2 (any version). Heavily customised Adobe Commerce installs may need a short scoping call first.

EAV and custom attributes

Custom attributes land as Shopify metafields with their original handles, so theme code that referenced them keeps working.

Multi-store split

Magento's multi-store needs a decision: split into separate Shopify stores or unify under Shopify Markets. We can do either.

FAQ

Magento questions.

Something not covered? hello@graftport.com reaches a person, not a queue.

M1, M2, or both?

Both. Magento 1 (1.7+) and Magento 2 (any version) are supported out of the box. Heavily customised Adobe Commerce installs work too — drop us a line first if your store has a lot of bespoke modules.

What about multi-store?

Magento's multi-store has no Shopify equivalent. We map every Magento storefront to either its own Shopify store or to a Shopify Market within one store, depending on which makes more sense for the merchant. Decided per-project.

Can I re-run a migration without creating duplicates?

Yes. Every record is tracked by its source identity, so anything already loaded is skipped on the next run. Re-run on go-live night without a single duplicate ending up in your store.

What happens if a mapping is wrong?

Re-edit the mapping, dry-run it, then re-load. Mappings are versioned, so you can revert to any prior version with one click.

Where does my data live?

EU-hosted infrastructure with strict access boundaries per account. Source store credentials are encrypted at rest, and we wipe everything cleanly on request.

How does pricing actually work?

Pricing is quoted case by case so the plan matches the source platforms, brand count, and re-run cadence of your migration. Tell us what you're moving on the pricing page and we'll come back with numbers within one business day.

Got a Magento estate to move?
